#2 - Rescuing Floon - 7 May 2026

#1 - Into the Sewers - 3 May 2026

The party is enjoying a brew at Yawning Portal with their friends, Obaya, Threestrings and Yagra. All is good and relaxed until a man with shaved head and eyes tatooed on his skull starts a fist fight with Yagra. The party tries to intercept, but Yagra is to strong and beats up the guy. He gets carried out by his henchmen.

Just as the fight is over, a troll climbs up from the well leading to Undermountain, accompanied by blood-sucking stirges. Khonam is knocked down, Yagra and the characters standing disposes of the stirges and barkeeper Durnan kills the Troll in four swift attacks.

After the fight, they get approached by Volothamp geddarm, the infamous bard. He needs help tracking down a friend by the name Floon Blagmaar. After some investigation in the Dock Ward they end up at a Zhentarim warehouse. Breaking down the door reveals five dead bodies on the floor, and four kenku who immediately attacks. With three down, they knock down the last one and interrogates him. It is clear that the kenku works for Xanathar and the bodies are of Zhentarim agents. It seems that Floon and an aquintance were kidnapped and led here. 

Searching the warehouse for loot also reveals a hidden nobleman that is not Floon, but Renaer Neverember, son of Dagult Neverember, previous lord of Waterdeep and Lord of Neverwinter. Renaer believes that they took Floon thinking he was him, to use for some sort of extortion. Renaer  is eager to help the characters finding Floon, since he feels responsible for his kidnapping.

Suddenly the City Watch barges in, led by Hyustus Staget, a well known officer assigned to the Dock Ward. After giving the party some invaluable advice he lets them loose and they can descend into the sewers. Some advice given by Staget were: "Best not to meddle in criminal matters. Leave this dirty business to the City Watch.", "Not all City Watch officers are as nice as me." and "Keep the blood off the streets, okay?".

There they follow the symbols previusly mentiod by the interrogated Kenku and after an hour the come upon a threeway intersection, where a a stone door is set into the back wall of a stone ledge. But before being able to examine the door, the get attacked by a Gazer. Renaer proves himself very valyuble as a fighter as he more or less single handendly disposes of the gazer.

But victory is short lived, arrows are shot at them from slits in the walls and they flee through the door and manages to take refuge in a room full of broken fruniture, weapons, armor and debris.
